THE PROBLEM

Your files shouldn't answer to a foreign parent company

Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Dropbox are convenient — and every document, shared link and calendar in them sits on infrastructure owned by a US company, reachable under US law regardless of where the data centre is. For a European team, an MSP holding clients' files, or anyone with a compliance question to answer, "where does this actually live, and who can compel access?" has an uncomfortable answer.

A Nextcloud environment answers it cleanly. One tenant, one instance, one database: your files, shares, calendars and contacts on hardware we own, under EU jurisdiction only, isolated from every other tenant. Full-featured collaboration — sync, share, office, calls — run as your own, sovereign by construction.

WHAT EVERY ENVIRONMENT INCLUDES

The collaboration stack, provisioned and syncing

Nextcloud installed and ready — current release, provisioned and configured, admin account seeded on day one. Add users and start syncing.
Your own MariaDB database — files metadata, shares, calendars and contacts in a database that is yours alone.
File sync and share, done right — desktop and mobile sync, WebDAV, shared links and federated shares, backed by your own dedicated file storage.
Users, groups and multiple domains in one instance — Nextcloud's native multi-user and multi-domain: your whole team, and every domain you serve them on, from a single environment.
Redis where it counts — distributed file locking and cache so concurrent access stays correct, not just fast.
Background jobs on schedule — cron mode (the mode Nextcloud recommends for production), running continuously.
Nightly backups included — database plus config, on separate platform storage.
Everything every environment gets — sealed networking, dedicated IP, automatic TLS, reserved compute.
COLLABORATION ADD-ONS

Office and calls, when you want them

Beyond files, a Nextcloud environment can grow into full collaboration — each add-on running inside your environment, isolated like everything else, and reserving its own compute so it never steals from your file plan.
Collaborative office — real-time co-editing of documents, spreadsheets and presentations with Collabora Online or OnlyOffice, in the browser, on your own instance.
Talk — chat and audio/video calls, with a high-performance backend and recording available for larger meetings.
Calendar and contacts — CalDAV/CardDAV built in, syncing to the clients your team already uses.
Each add-on reserves one extra quarter of compute (two at Enterprise). The office engines and Talk's large-meeting backend run as their own isolated pods; standard Talk (chat and calls) grows your web tier, where its call signaling actually runs. You add only what you use — see the add-on pricing below.
For teams and the MSPs who run their stack

We run the substrate. You run the workspace.

We guarantee the environment: the app pods, the database, Redis, cron, the network, uptime and provisioning. You run Nextcloud — your users, groups, shares, apps and collaboration settings, through the full admin. It's stock, current Nextcloud with the managed-apps model, so the product works exactly as documented.

Bring users in, sync existing files up, and — because the data and config are yours — move out the same way. No lock-in on your team's documents.
ISOLATION IS A COMPLIANCE FEATURE

A sovereignty answer you can put in writing

Documents in your own environment — files, shares and metadata in your own database and your own dedicated storage, not pooled in a hyperscaler's multi-tenant system.
One tenant, sealed — default-deny networking means no other environment can reach yours; "who else is on this box?" has one answer: no one.
Sovereign EU ground — on hardware we own, in Sofia or Amsterdam, under EU jurisdiction only. No US parent, no CLOUD Act reach — a real answer for European teams and the MSPs who serve them, not a region label.
Reserved resources, no per-user meter and no seat tax — you pay for the environment (and any collaboration add-ons) you reserve, not per head.

Under the hood

Compute
Dedicated Nextcloud (PHP-FPM + nginx) pods, resources reserved in-cluster (request = limit); Shared or Dedicated physical CPU clusters — your choice
Database
Your own MariaDB 11 pod on replicated Ceph block storage
Cache / locking
Your own Redis for distributed file locking and cache — correct concurrent access, not just speed
Cron
Nextcloud background jobs in cron mode, running continuously
Storage
Distributed CephFS volume for user files, replicated across nodes; storage scales with your plan
Office / Talk
Optional per-environment Collabora or OnlyOffice, and Talk (chat/calls, high-performance backend, recording) — each reserves its own quarter of compute inside your environment
Network
Default-deny NetworkPolicies: environments cannot reach each other, period
Ingress
Dedicated IP per environment, TLS at our EU edge for every domain you serve, HTTP/2
Backups
Nightly database plus config archive, on separate platform storage
Releases
Every component version-pinned down to image digests; upgrades staged on test environments first
Jurisdiction
EU company, own network (AS202309), own hardware in Sofia & Amsterdam, own keys

Plans

Nextcloud is collaboration-first: a real PHP application, database, Redis and cron, sized to serve a team. A Standard environment runs files and sharing for a team comfortably; office co-editing and Talk are opt-in add-ons that each reserve a quarter of compute on top. Per environment, per month, excl. VAT. Dedicated IP and nightly backups included in every plan.

Collaboration add-ons

Every add-on works the same way: it reserves one extra quarter of compute — 4 vCPU · 16 GB · 100 GB — on top of your base plan (two quarters at Enterprise), priced at the quarter rate for your region and CPU mode. Mix and match:

Frequently asked

How is this different from Nextcloud's own hosting or a big cloud drive?
It's self-hosted, open-source Nextcloud as your own isolated instance on EU hardware we own — not a shared account on a hyperscaler. No per-user pricing, full admin, and a straight answer on where your data lives and who can reach it.
Can my whole team use one environment?
Yes — Nextcloud's native multi-user and groups mean one environment serves your whole team, across multiple domains if you need. A different client or company is a different environment.
Can I get online office and video calls?
Yes — collaborative office (Collabora or OnlyOffice) and Talk (chat and audio/video calls, with a high-performance backend and recording) are opt-in add-ons that run inside your environment and each reserve their own quarter of compute.
Do you support or administer my instance?
No — same boundary as everywhere on the platform. We guarantee the environment: database, cache, cron, network, uptime, provisioning. Your users, shares, apps and settings are yours, through the full admin.
Can I migrate my files in?
Yes — sync or import your files and data in, and because the environment is yours, move out the same way. No lock-in.
Where is my data?
Sofia or Amsterdam — your choice — on hardware owned by Radibase, an EU company on its own network. No US parent, no CLOUD Act exposure. Your documents stay under EU jurisdiction.
