HA Memcached, fronted by mcrouter

We run Memcached behind mcrouter, so multiple cache servers sit behind a single endpoint with high availability built in. It's the exact pattern Radibase itself uses for user sessions across multiple servers — battle-tested on our own platform.

Memcached with mcrouter is tuned for latency-sensitive, in-region session storage. Where you need cross-region cache replication instead, Redis with Dynomite is the better fit — and we'll point you to the right one.

Why Radibase for Memcached

🔀

mcrouter cluster, single endpoint

Multiple Memcached servers behind one mcrouter endpoint, giving you HA without changing how your application connects.

Proven on our own platform

This is how Radibase stores user sessions across servers. You're deploying a pattern we run in production ourselves.

Built for in-region latency

Optimised for fast, latency-sensitive session storage within a region — the workload Memcached is genuinely best at.

Fully managed

Setup, scaling and monitoring of the mcrouter cluster handled by our team.
